About Bill

Bill Taylor is a former television reporter, producer, anchorman and news director. For more than three decades he has been an entrepreneur and media consultant/critic. He has advised broadcast and cable networks, Hollywood studios, and scores of local TV stations, as well as newspapers and web developers. He partnered in forming a media consulting firm that eventually grew into a family of companies stretching from Dallas to Los Angeles and London.
Bill proudly served as a consultant to the George H.W. Bush White House in ’91-92.
Bill currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Aiken County Chapter of the American Red Cross. As part of his personal mission work, Bill created the Emergency Mobile Shower Unit which provides free showers to first responders and disaster victims as it did during Hurricane Ike in Texas in 2008. As a member of Millbrook Baptist Church he has been on frequent mission trips repairing damaged homes after natural disasters, such as Katrina. Bill is a Shriner and serves the Aiken County Shrine Club in transporting young patients to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC. He is a member of the Aiken Rotary Club is actively involved in a wide variety of other Aiken County activities.
Bill is married to Donna Taylor; they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Election Day 2010. Donna is Vice President, Associate Broker and Realtor at Meybohm Realtors, Aiken. They have two adult children, Kasey Taylor Craven, also a Meybohm Realtor, and Ryan Taylor, a recent USCA graduate who is pursuing his Master's Degree in Family Counseling.
Upon moving to Aiken County nearly a decade ago, they owned and operated a 66 acre horse farm in the northeast part of the county.
